Matt Waldron bullpen video; Guardians return from all-star break with 7-0 win over Padres

For baseball nerds, Friday night was fun. Here’s some rare footage of Matt Waldron’s knuckler I scored in the Guardian’s away bullpen. It’s not often you get to see a knuckleballer pitch in the MLB on Dollar Dog Night. Watch how Waldron’s knuckleball breaks, dances and rolls at you. It looks silly, like a circus act. The Guards were having trouble.

Matt Waldron started against Tanner Bibee and of course it was gonna be close in the beginning. Bibee pushed through triumphantly to achieve the win, pitching over 100 pitches before the 6th. Guards were able to score in the back half. No home runs which is sort of uneventful but you can book the win. Let's do it again.

Jose Ramirez and Daniel Schneemann continue to pop off. Padres bullpen wasn’t great, something was just off. It’s only game 1 of the series. Tickets were sold out at Progressive Field and for the next few games as well. Weather is beautiful. The greatest story in baseball is currently taking place in Cleveland. Don’t miss it. The Guards have some tough matchups yet in July.
